Job summary

Flexjet in Chesterfield, MO is seeking a Structures Technician to join our in-house sheet metal team. You will layout, fabricate, assemble, and install aircraft structures and assemblies, while reading blueprints and engineering drawings to determine methods and sequencing of operations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of heavy structural experience, 5+ years with various aircraft, and at least an A&P certificate or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years heavy structural experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience with various aircraft types and power plant maintenance.
• Working knowledge of rigging and installation of structural assemblies and parts.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; able to coordinate with multiple departments.
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools and common shop practices.

Responsibilities

• Layout, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair aircraft structures and assemblies.
• Read plans and drawings to determine methods and sequence of operations.
• Drill, rivet, and assemble parts; modify structures per engineering changes.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure on-time completion; maintain clean work area.
