Job summary

Flexjet is seeking an experienced Structures Tech to join our in-house maintenance facility in Sanford, Florida. The role focuses on sheet metal structures, assemblies, and related mechanical systems for private aircraft, requiring hands-on fabrication, assembly, and modification work with close attention to engineering specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years heavy structural experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience with various aircraft, power plant maintenance and inspections.
• Working knowledge of rigging and installation of operating mechanisms, structures, assemblies and parts.

Responsibilities

• Layout, fabricate, assemble, mate, install, check or troubleshoot and repair production and prototype aircraft structures, parts and mechanical assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, planning, process specifications, diagrams, engineering drawings and sketches to determine methods and sequences.
• Attach structural parts and assemblies using riveting and hand/power tools; drill, route, ream, countersink parts.
• Modify or rebuild parts to configuration changes; modify aircraft structure and systems per engineering requirements.
• Present a clean and neat work area to customers; perform other duties as assigned.
