Qualifications

• High School/GED required; A&P or structures experience a plus; repairman’s certificate may substitute for A&P.
• 2-3 years of experience working on aircraft structures; able to use tech data and drawings to locate part numbers and perform repairs.
• Understanding of metals, alloys, composites and plastics used in aircraft structures; reading blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on airframes, including minor and major repairs, modifications, and fabrication of structural parts.
• Interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and repair drawings to determine repair methods and ensure compliance with manufacturer and regulatory standards.
• Using hand and power tools to cut, drill, assemble, and install aircraft structural components with metals and composites.
• Inspecting for damage, corrosion, and wear; taking corrective action to restore structural integrity.
• Completing documentation and maintenance records to comply with regulatory and company requirements.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment; adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned
