Job summary

Embraer in Nashville, TN seeks a Lead Aircraft Technician to supervise maintenance crews and perform advanced inspections on mechanical systems, hydraulics, and rigging. You will follow FAA-approved procedures and OEM data, overseeing repairs from start to finish to ensure airworthiness.

You will manage work packages, sign off on completed tasks, and report performance statistics to the Project Manager, while maintaining compliance with SOPs and quality control standards in a dynamic shop

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; A&P license preferred or repairman certification.
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership role; journeyman experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Experience interpreting OEM data, work packages, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee maintenance crew and task card time management.
• Decide repair schemes, parts needs, and coordinate with stores.
• Inspect, rework, and certify repaired components to meet standards.
• Perform serviceability tests and document work packages per FAA/OEM data.
• Provide performance data to Project Manager and comply with SOPs and RSM/QCM.
