Job Description
The Structures Technician researches technical data and performs inspection, repair, and replacement of aircraft sheet metal structures in accordance with maintenance manuals and FAA regulations. This role focuses on structural components such as main landing gear fittings, aircraft skins, and floor beams, and involves the full lifecycle of sheet metal work from layout and fabrication to installation and repair on commercial aircraft.

This role operates primarily on a first shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with overtime available on an as‑needed basis. Work is performed in an aircraft maintenance and modification environment, including a B777 Cargo Conversion Program and other areas across the property as required. The position requires extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking, along with frequent bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and reaching above shoulder level, and occasional crawling and climbing. Team members must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds unassisted. The role involves regular use of equipment such as hydraulic press brakes, power shears, forming equipment, hand tools, lift equipment, stands, ladders, glass beading equipment, rivet guns, and drills. The environment may include high‑intensity noise levels, extreme temperature changes, exposure to materials identified on Safety Data Sheets, work at unprotected heights, proximity to moving machinery, and aircraft fuel tank entry. To ensure safety, employees use personal protective equipment such as goggles, safety glasses, face shields, ear protection, aprons, gloves, and safety harnesses as required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $39.12 - $46.00/hr.
