Job summary

DAS Aviation is seeking a Structures Technician to perform basic sheet metal operations on airframe components and support the shop with sealant application and finish materials. The role requires attention to safety rules and effective communication in English, with opportunities to use various tools and equipment.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 0–5 years of sheet metal experience, and the willingness to work under deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; A&P license not required but welcome.
• Journeyman: 0-5 years of experience as sheet metal technician.
• Master: 5+ years’ experience as a sheet metal technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic sheet metal operations on airframe components.
• Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening and finish materials.
• Maintenance, cleaning and repair of shop facilities, equipment and tooling when required.
• Safely operate shop equipment such as brakes, presses, riveting equipment, shears, and hand tools.
• Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
• Communicate clearly in English.
• Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
