Job summary

Air Methods is seeking a Structures Technician to maintain, repair, and inspect sheet metal and composite components on company aircraft. The role includes overseeing the corrosion control program for the BHH fleet and requires regular travel to multiple maintenance locations.

The candidate should have experience reading blueprints, working with RAMCO ERP, and performing repairs per FARs and SBs. A GED or high school diploma is required, with 2–5 years related experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent experience in aircraft repair/modification.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
  • Experience with RAMCO ERP and Microsoft Excel is preferred.
  • Travel up to 40% of time to support multiple bases.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections and repairs of aircraft structures per manuals, ADs, SBs, and FARs.
  • Execute sheet metal and composite repairs on airframe structures.
  • Interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical specs.
  • Perform aircraft modifications per Service Bulletins and STC information.
  • Identify required parts, tools, and supplies for non-routine discrepancies.
  • Ensure maintenance documentation complies with regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain clean, organized workshop and stock supplies.
  • Conduct periodic corrosion control inspections and repairs.
  • Travel to BHH bases as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
