Job summary

Ascent Aviation Services is searching for a supervisor-level aviation maintenance professional to oversee aircraft structural repairs and modifications in Marana, AZ. The role requires ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company policies, and includes coaching and training junior staff.

You will coordinate with multiple departments, review standards, and manage documentation to guarantee safe, efficient maintenance operations at both Marana and Tucson sites.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid A License or Repairman’s certificate.
• 5+ years in aircraft structural repair with supervisory experience.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and data.
• Capable of working independently or under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supervises modification, repair and aircraft structures ensuring compliance with technical data, FAA regulations, and company policies.
• Studies production schedules and estimates worker-hour requirements; adjusts procedures for efficiency.
• Interprets maintenance manuals and service bulletins to determine repair methods.
• Ensures paperwork is completed and compliant with regulations and procedures.
• Coordinates with other departments and mentors staff through training and coaching.
