Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks an Aircraft Structures Mechanic 1 at Whiteman AFB, MO to join the B-2 modification team. The role involves locating parts, drilling metals, and installing brackets and structural components on the bomber.

An active Secret clearance is preferred, with a clearance request possible for the selected candidate. Shifts may include 1st, 2nd, and overtime as needed; the environment is classified and devices are restricted.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret security clearance.
• Must be able to obtain required program access within a reasonable time.
• Comfortable working in a classified environment and adaptable to shift schedules.

Responsibilities

• Locate parts, drill various types of metals, install brackets and structural components.
• Support B-2 modification team and work on the Whiteman AFB site.
• Possess the physical ability for strenuous and repetitive tasks and team collaboration.
