Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years of related experience in manufacturing/production.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years of related experience in manufacturing/production.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Government Secret Clearance.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, job guides, and manuals.
• Must complete Aircraft Structures training class.
• Willing to work extended shifts and variable schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 35 pounds and working in supporting spaces.

Responsibilities

• Assemble major structures such as fuselage panels and bulkheads.
• Align parts on jigs using templates and fixtures.
• Perform minor part-fitting: filing, sawing, burring, riveting, drilling, reaming.
• Measure parts with micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions.
• Modify assemblies to incorporate changes to structure.
• Monitor and verify quality per process controls.
• Use PPE on the shop floor.
• Translate blueprints into fabrications with precision drilling and countersinking.
