Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I focused on sheetmetal and structural repairs for UH-60/AH-64/CH-47 platforms. You will repair, fabricate, and inspect structural components, work with various hand tools and measuring devices, and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Requirements include a high school diploma and military or specialized training; A&P license is optional. Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to obtain required clearances.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• U.S. military technical school or specialized training desired; certification of education level required.
• Valid driver’s license. Own tools/task toolbox required.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and replaces aircraft structural components per manuals and directives.
• Fabricates and installs structural parts; uses measuring tools and alignment fixtures.
• Performs inspections, final checks, and prepares maintenance records.
