Basic Qualifications

Hand tools, including electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic; precision measuring instruments and gauges; special tools and testing equipment; and machine tools such as drill presses, metal brakes & shears, powered sanders, and band saws. Additionally, jacks, dollies, hoists, cranes, fixtures, powered industrial equipment, and tooling aids will be utilised.

Materials: Items common to aviation maintenance, production, and modification. Includes various sheet metals, wood, plastic, micarta, wire, tubing, hard rubber, composites, fluids, lubricants, adhesives, and solvents.

Desired Skills

Demonstrated knowledge & experience in structural principles and characteristics of simple to complex aircraft structural modification, repair, assembly, and maintenance; including all specifications for declaration of flight worthy and returning to service.

Aircraft and system knowledge / expertise in one or more fields of specialisation. Competent in the necessary testing equipment and tools related to areas of specialisation. Proficient in operational checks, testing methodology, and utilisation of aircraft technical guidance.

Demonstrated knowledge for determination of repairable, serviceable, rejectable, condemnable parts and assemblies. Proficient in procedures & methods concerning each of the categories

Pay Information
  • $36.46 - $36.46
