Job summary

Enstrom Helicopter Corporation in Menominee, MI seeks a Structural Analyst to support the design, evaluation, substantiation, and continued airworthiness of helicopter structures. You will apply engineering principles to assess loads, stress, fatigue, and regulatory compliance.

Collaborating with design, manufacturing, quality, certification, and flight test teams, you will produce substantiation analyses, load paths, and reports guiding decisions and ensuring safe, reliable aircraft.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, civil or related engineering.
• Experience with classical stress calculations and evaluating load paths preferred.
• Experience with finite element modeling and analysis software preferred.
• Knowledge of metallic or composite aircraft structures and damage-tolerance principles preferred.
• Experience reviewing engineering drawings and substantiation documents preferred.
• Experience in aviation, aerospace manufacturing, FAA-regulated product development, or certification support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform static strength, stiffness, fatigue and damage-tolerance analyses of aircraft structures and structural components.
• Develop load paths, analytical models, assumptions, boundary conditions, calculations, results, and margins of safety.
• Use classical hand-analysis methods, finite element analysis, and other analytical tools to evaluate structural behavior and integrity.
• Develop, review, or interpret structural loads and load cases for components, assemblies, installations, and aircraft conditions.
• Evaluate metallic, composite, bonded, fastened, welded, and other structural configurations using material properties and allowable data.
• Review engineering drawings, models, specifications, reports, and change documentation for structural adequacy, completeness, and consistency.
