Job summary

AAA USA Inc. is seeking skilled aerospace professionals to join our team in Columbus, MS, performing sheet metal work on aircraft, assemblies, and parts. The role requires reading detailed plans, inspecting parts, and ensuring proper installation while maintaining aircraft integrity.

Applicants should have substantial experience (6+ years) or an equivalent A&P-related credential. English literacy is required; a current A&P license is a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) years related experience; some experience may be substituted for education normally acquired in the attainment of an A&P license or a degree directly related to aircraft sheet metal or composite.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches and diagrams, and apply standard shop practices in the fabrication and repair modifications of aircraft structures and repairs.
• Current Airframe or Powerplant license is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Read detailed plans and diagrams and inspect and measure parts prior to assembly, making sure parts are free of defects and are the right size.
• Install Sheet metal parts and assemblies in aircraft; assure that installations are attached without endangering aircraft structure or systems operations and functions.
• Fitting and assembling skins, frames, and other components. Work will consist of drilling, fitting, and riveting of the many sub-assemblies of the helicopter, including such items as tail booms and stabilizers.
• Work with inspectors to run tests to determine whether the parts are assembled properly.
