Job summary

Textron Aviation in Wichita, KS is hiring immediately for a Sheet Metal Fabrication Operator. You will set up and operate machines to fabricate aircraft components into parts according to blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities include shaping and straightening parts using fabrication tools, and applying hand and power tools to meet shop quality standards. Prior experience in metal fabrication is preferred, with automotive exposure helpful.

Qualifications

• High School education, GED, or Bronze Level WorkKeys certification is required.
• 1-3 years experience operating related equipment.
• Experience in related fields such as automotive is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Part shaping and fabrication using blueprints and fabrication tools.
• Use hand and power tools for forming, routing, drilling, deburring to ensure quality.
• Tools include routers, water knives, saws, shapers, drill presses to shape parts.
