Job summary

Textron Aviation is hiring an Aircraft Mechanic in Kansas to repair, maintain, overhaul, and troubleshoot airframes and engine systems. You will fabricate sheet metal parts, assist other mechanics, and support inspections and service bulletins to prepare aircraft for flight and delivery.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and an A&P license is preferred. A minimum of three years of experience in inspections or repairs is expected, with hands-on use of standard

• Minimum 3 years of experience with inspections, repairs, or composite modifications.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, overhaul, and troubleshoot airframes, engine systems, parts, and components.
• Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal; support inspections and structural repairs.
• Assist higher and lower grade mechanics as needed.
• Perform disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, and reassembly to prepare aircraft for flight and delivery.
• Conduct troubleshooting and system checks on engines and airframes.
• Use hand tools and precision instruments to facilitate repairs.
