  • Develop aircraft modifications per project plan
    • Manage program enablers and ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
    • Manage all stakeholders for timely delivery of projects
    • Oversight of subcontractors and associated cost and delivery
    • Provide strong liaison support to internal and international departments
    • Develop the retrofit solutions global architecture and retrofit engineering drawings
    • Determine kits needed to support the retrofit design
    • Develop aircraft certification plan and supports the certification process
    • Support onsite modification team and answers/resolves queries during and after Service Bulletin embodiment and kit delivery
    • Retrofit engineering drawings with a focus on speed, quality, and cost.
    • Determining the kits needed to support the retrofit design.
    • Develop aircraft modifications per project plan.
    • Develop and manage program enablers and ensure their timely and high quality delivery.
    • Stakeholder management to ensure timely delivery of engineering projects.
    • Provide strong liaison support to other departments both internally and internationally.
    • Develop the aircraft certification plan.
    • Support the certification process as required.
    • Support the onsite modification team as required including direct onsite support at customer or MRO facility.
    • Answer/resolve queries during and after Service Bulletin embodiment and kit delivery.

    Your Boarding Pass

    • Bachelor’s Degree-Engineering: (Mechanical Engineering/Aeronautic Engineering/Electrical Engineering)
      • 9+ years of Aircraft related Engineering experience.
      • Experience in project or program engineering
      • Ability to effectively present information
      • Authorized to work in the US.
    Preferred experience:

    • Airline / MRO experience desired
      • Experience with Google Suite Products
      • Python or other programming language experience
    Physical Requirements:

    • Onsite or remote: Onsite 100%
      • Vision: able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings.
      • Hearing: able to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms.
      • Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications.
      • Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts.
      • Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.
      • Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.
      • Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools.
      • Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer.
      • Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving.
      • Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor.
      • Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice.
      • Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces.
      • Personal Protective Equipment required: Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site.
