Job summary

Vectrus, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Aircraft Records Clerk to manage production data, aircraft records, and related documentation in a DoD environment.

The role requires analyzing maintenance data, updating logs and reports, and ensuring compliance with NAVMIL directives. The position involves maintaining accurate inventories, preparing schedules, and coordinating with maintenance teams within a hanger setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance and material control procedures.
• Knowledge of aircraft log books, logs and records, and production daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Must be able to analyze maintenance and material data.
• Ability to interact effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.
• Understand technical language terms in associated field.
• Possess a valid US State driver's license.
• Ability to read and interpret data is required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Compile and record production data from customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets, following prescribed recording procedures.
• Calculate factors such as items produced, materials used, scrap, defects, and production rates using a calculator.
• Write production reports based on compiled data and prescribed formats.
• Maintain files of documents used and prepared.
• Prepare detailed production sheets from orders and specifications for assembly or manufacture.
• Prepare and update engine documentation and NAVFLIR inputs as required.
• Monitor, order, verify, and update technical directives (TDs).
• Initiate and verify aircraft logbooks and AESR forms and records.
• Ensure accurate aircraft inventories, serial numbers, and configurations.
• Comply with COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 series applicable to aircraft maintenance.
• Work with NAMP and NALCOMIS applications in daily tasks.
