Job summary

V2X Inc in Maryland is seeking an Aircraft Records Clerk to manage accurate data entry, recordkeeping, and documentation within Navy maintenance systems. You will maintain logbooks, ensure entries are complete, and support readiness reporting in a hangar environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, completion of the C-555-0059 course, 2+ years of aircraft records experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Must have completed Logs and Records Configuration Management for Organizational and Intermediate Activities course (C-555-0059).
• Two (2) or more years of recent aircraft records experience.
• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance.
• Must have a valid US State issued drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aircraft and engine logbooks and associated records.
• Perform aircraft maintenance recordkeeping and data entry.
• Make required entries in aircraft, engine, and support equipment records.
• Review records for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify and correct data-entry and recordkeeping discrepancies.
• Perform data retrieval and database functions.
• Extract maintenance data and prepare management reports.
• Create and maintain electronic archives, backups, and data saves.
• Prepare maintenance reports and correspondence.
• Perform filing, document control, and administrative duties.
• Support aircraft readiness status reporting.
• Maintain aircraft inspection and acceptance documentation.
• Support required situational and periodic reports.
• Support applicable Navy maintenance information systems.
• Support Technical Directive compliance recordkeeping and reporting.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Control and maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft records accurately reflect maintenance actions and aircraft status.
