Description

The Aircraft Quality Inspector services, repairs, and overhauls aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure airworthiness. This is a part-time position.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Process daily incoming and outgoing material to meet Quality Control requirements as stated in the AAR ISO 9000 Procedures Manual and Customer Requirements Manual.
• Assist the Director of Quality Control in reviewing and updating department standards. Interface with suppliers and product line to disposition rejects.
• All other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need to Be Successful

• Perform each essential duty satisfactorily; the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.
• Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or four years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant License required.
• At least 3 years of technical experience on Boeing commercial airliners.

Physical Demands/Work Environment

• Employees may be required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about the facility. The environment is a warehouse setting. Candidates should be able to adapt accordingly.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds and comply with OSHA standards.
