We are seeking a qualified Contract Aviation Safety Inspector Instructor to deliver training within the Safety and Compliance PAW program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in aviation operations and federal regulations, along with the ability to engage and instruct adult learners effectively.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing instruction and facilitating training sessions on aviation safety and compliance topics tailored for a diverse audience of adult learners.
  2. Creating and presenting clear and engaging instructional materials, ensuring that complex information is conveyed in a simplified manner for improved comprehension.
  3. Applying principles and methods of adult education to foster an interactive and engaging learning atmosphere.
  4. Organizing and overseeing training activities, ensuring compliance with timelines and deadlines.
  5. Promoting discussions and stimulating participation to enrich the learning experience.
  6. Employing word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software to prepare documents, reports, and presentations.
  7. Conducting training sessions in both in-person and virtual formats utilizing platforms such as Adobe Connect and Zoom.
  8. Requirements:

    1. At least three years of experience in aircraft operations within the aviation industry over the past eight years.
    2. A minimum of three years’ experience working with federal laws, regulations, and policies that govern aviation activities.
    3. Understanding of the FAA Compliance Philosophy and Flight Standards Service Compliance Policy.
    4. Familiarity with principles of aviation safety inspection.
    5. Knowledge of adult education and training techniques.
    6. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for explaining complex information in a clear and engaging way.
    7. Demonstrated ability to teach adults from diverse backgrounds and experience levels on intricate topics.
    8. Strong organizational skills with a talent for managing time effectively and meeting deadlines in an educational environment.
    9. Experience with virtual training platforms such as Adobe Connect and Zoom is a bonus.
