Job summary

OMNI seeks a Quality Control Inspector to support the Manager of Inspection, ensuring airworthiness and regulatory compliance across maintenance activities. You will inspect shop areas, document repairs, and coordinate inspection progress with the team.

Requirements include an A&P certificate, willingness to work 12-hour shifts, and experience with Boeing 767/777 or avionics; travel is extensive. Equal opportunity employer; Drug Free Workplace.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid A&P Certificate.
• Must be able to pass FAA pre-employment drug test.
• Must pass 10-year background/criminal check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be willing to work a 12-hour shift schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR in past 3 years.
• Must possess or obtain a valid passport for travel to all destinations OAI may fly.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company professionally and maintain awareness of company interests.
• Inspect all shop areas as directed.
• Coordinate with Manager of Inspection on inspection progress and status.
• Perform inspection tasks as assigned by the Manager of Inspection/Director of Quality Control/Director of Maintenance.
• Inspect incoming components or materials when necessary.
• Document major repairs/alterations on FAA Form 337 as required.
• Complete Service Difficulty Reports per 14 CFR 121.703.
• Document corrosion per GMM requirements and forward reports.
• Provide oversight of Outsourced Maintenance Providers by performing random checks during maintenance events.
• Audit paperwork and weigh operations and perform weight/balance calculations as required.
