Job summary

Avelo Airlines, Inc. is seeking a motivated Quality Control Inspector to oversee Technical Operations and ensure aircraft airworthiness in maintenance activities. You will monitor work, verify documentation, and enforce regulatory compliance across inspections and records.

This role requires an A&P license, 3+ years of maintenance experience on large airplanes, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Possibility of travel and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P license or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience on large airplanes with 10+ seats.
• Solid understanding of CFRs and related safety/regulatory standards.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and technical data.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality oversight for maintenance activities.
• Monitor work-in-progress to ensure proper use of manuals and tools.
• Identify and document RCC/ RII items and ensure proper reporting.
• Conduct inspections (preliminary, in-progress, final) and verify accuracy of records.
• Ensure calibration, shelf-life, and proper tagging of parts and materials.
