Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification is required.
• At least three years of experience on large aircraft.
• One year as a maintenance inspector is preferred.
• Knowledge of applicable FARs and the General Maintenance Manual.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be able to obtain US work authorization and a US passport within 90 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to Safety Policy and Procedures and GMM policies.
• Submits manual revisions for identified ineffective processes.
• Plan, direct, layout and coordinate the activities of the inspection department at the assigned base.
• Ensure Airworthiness Directives are performed in compliance.
• Indoctrination and ongoing training of inspectors.
• Coordinate with Chief Inspector on calibration/repair of tools.
• Maintain inspector schedules for adequate coverage.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisors on workload and access for aircraft maintenance.
• Recommend adjustments in methods to improve safety and reliability.
• Issue Temporary RII Authorizations as necessary.
• Oversee the maintenance facility to ensure policy compliance.
• Comply with company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.
