Job summary

Airborne Maintenance and Engineering Services seeks an experienced supervisor to lead inspection personnel within the Quality Department. Responsibilities include ensuring proper inspections, maintaining records, and coordinating repair orders for articles at the repair station.

The ideal candidate has FAA Aircraft & Powerplant licensing and 3+ years in supervisory and inspection roles, with the ability to obtain NDI certifications and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Post HS education or equivalent with FAA Aircraft & Powerplant license.
• Three years in supervisory positions of increasing responsibility in Quality and/or maintenance.
• Three years in an inspection capacity.
• Ability to obtain specific NDI Certifications.
• A valid driver’s license is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assist; supervise all inspection personnel assigned to the Quality Department. Ensure inspections are properly performed on completed work before service and that inspection records, reports and forms used by the Repair Station are correctly executed.
• Manage the collection and repair orders and inspection forms pertaining to articles processed at the repair station.
• Assure that inspector’s activities are in compliance with repair manuals, service bulletins, Airworthiness Directives.
• Identify and address nonconformities and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Support a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment.
