STS Aviation Services in Melbourne, FL is hiring Aircraft Quality Control Inspectors to ensure maintenance and alterations meet FAA regulations and internal procedures. The role supports incoming, in-progress, and final inspections with clear documentation across shifts.

The ideal candidate holds an FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate, at least three years of aviation inspection experience in an MRO environment, and strong knowledge of applicable FAA regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; some college preferred.
• FAA certificated under 14 CFR Part 65
• Valid and current FAA Airframe & Powerplant License
• Minimum of three years of aviation inspection experience in an MRO environment
• Experience working on commercial and large regional aircraft
• Thorough knowledge of applicable FAA regulations
• Proficient in inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with Production Supervisors to determine daily inspection priorities
• Provide and document On the Job Training for inspection and maintenance personnel
• Perform receiving inspections as authorized by the Chief Inspector
• Conduct incoming and preliminary inspections
• Perform in-progress and final inspections
• Ensure Shift Turnover Reports are completed and filed daily
• Initiate Suspect Unapproved Parts reports as required
• Initiate Service Difficulty Reports as required
• Conduct in-process audits
• Perform internal audits
• Complete additional duties as assigned by the Director of Quality or Chief Inspector

STS Aviation Services is hiring Aircraft Quality Control Inspectors in Melbourne, Florida. This is an opportunity to join a leading Part 145 MRO supporting commercial and large regional aircraft maintenance operations.

Position Overview

The Quality Control Inspector reports directly to the Chief Inspector and is responsible for ensuring aircraft maintenance and alteration activities comply with FAA regulations, company procedures, and industry standards.

This role supports incoming, in-progress, and final inspections while maintaining clear documentation and communication across shifts.

Classification: Non-Exempt / Full Time
Location: Melbourne, Florida

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma required; some college preferred
