Job summary
Mid Continent Instrument Co. in Wichita, KS is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support our Aircraft Battery and Electrical Power Systems lineup. You will troubleshoot, install, configure, and service products while delivering a top-notch customer experience.
The role requires strong aviation knowledge, 5+ years in technical support, and excellent communication. Travel up to 15% and a benefits package are offered as part of a competitive, above-market pay plan.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of direct aviation experience in a customer support environment.
- Extensive knowledge of aircraft electrical systems and troubleshooting of installations and operation.
- Experience conducting tests/inspections of avionics and electrical systems to evaluate field function.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical support for lithium‑ion aircraft battery, power conversion and electrical power systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve field issues; install and configure products.
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate with customers clearly.
- Coordinate with Quality and Engineering teams for root-cause analysis and resolution.
- Travel up to 15% to meet business needs.
