Job summary

Sun Country Airlines in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to manage aircraft parts shipping, receiving and related documentation in support of maintenance activities.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work with vendors, and capability to operate in a busy hangar environment; compensation starts at $22.00–$25.00 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; valid driver's license required.
• Must obtain MSP SIDA Badge.
• Proficient in computer programs and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and communicate in English; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Track, ship, and expedite material to support critical aircraft requirements.
• Code all shipments to track expenses and review invoices for accuracy.
• Monitor loans, borrows, and exchanges to meet contract return requirements.
• Perform initial receiving of incoming materials.
• Communicate order receiving discrepancies for proper resolution.
• Prioritize discrepancies to support AOG or critical parts.
• Determine best shipment method and track materials to outstations/COMAT/storage facilities.
• Ensure proper handling and storage to prevent damage.
• Prepare shipping documents (bills of lading, packing slips, labels) and file electronically.
• Maintain SDS files and ensure regulatory paperwork is current.
• Maintain records of receiving documentation for traceability.
• Maintain shipping tracking dashboard and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Address customer inquiries related to shipping and logistics.
• Pack materials safely using best practices; other duties as assigned.
