Job summary

Barnes Aerospace, Ogden Division is seeking a Painter to support manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be self-driven with a safety and quality mindset, reporting to the Production Supervisor on 1st shift.

Responsibilities include painting aircraft parts, surface preparation, and ensuring adherence to customer specs while maintaining equipment and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably Aerospace.
• Minimum of two years of experience painting aircraft parts.
• Ability to follow company and customer specifications.
• Ability to operate equipment used for painting and finishing.

Responsibilities

• Paints surfaces of aircraft parts using spray painting equipment and adhering to specs.
• Prepares surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking as needed.
• Mixes primers or paints to specified color and consistency.
• Maintains and cleans all painting equipment and tools.
