V2X, Inc. in Kingsville, TX, seeks an Aircraft Painter to apply coatings to surfaces of aircraft and support equipment, using brushes, rollers, spray guns, and related tools.

You will prepare surfaces, protect adjacent areas, and document work. Candidates must have HS diploma, 3 years of corrosion/painting experience on aircraft, ability to read/write English, and the ability to obtain DoD CAC and a state drivers license.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of corrosion or painting experience on aircraft or related components.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD CAC.
• Must have a valid state drivers license.

Responsabilités

• Paint surfaces of aircraft, components, engines and related equipment with coatings using brushes, rollers or spray equipment.
• Prepare surfaces and protect areas not being painted.
• Coordinate with supervision and Quality Control on procedures and serviceability.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and tools.
• Assist with ordering parts, tools, materials and equipment.
• Document work accomplished (VIDS/MAFs/WECMS/OOMA).
• Follow hazardous waste and safety regulations.
