West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a Paint Technician for the weekend shift in Grand Junction, CO. The role covers painting, masking, sanding, and detailing aircraft finishes with a focus on quality and safety in a fast-paced hangar environment.

Qualifikationen

• A high school diploma or equivalent. Vo-tech school in paint or on-the-job experience is preferred but not required.
• A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal.

Aufgaben

• Masking and taping aircraft parts to avoid overspray.
• Sanding primer.
• Blowing and cleaning aircraft with thinner.
• Washing the paint booth.
• Applying all layers of paint to include top coat.
• Laying out stripe and design schemes.
• Prep and scuff paint to get ready for trim.
• Re-masking aircraft and detail work
• Inspect completed paint jobs.
• Paint mixing and paint matching
• Effective and clear communication in English
