Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a Paint Technician for the weekend shift in Perryville, MO. This full-time, on-site role involves painting aircraft parts, masking, sanding, and applying multiple paint layers in a busy hangar environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preference for Vo-tech in paint or related hands-on experience. Valid driver’s license or passport is ideal, with benefits starting on day one and weekly pay.

Responsibilities

• Masking and taping aircraft parts to avoid overspray.
• Sanding primer.
• Blowing and cleaning aircraft with thinner.
• Washing the paint booth.
• Applying all layers of paint including top coat.
• Laying out stripe and design schemes.
• Prep and scuff paint before trim.
• Re-masking aircraft and detail work.
• Inspect completed paint jobs.
• Paint mixing and paint matching.
