West Star Aviation in Perryville, MO is seeking a Lead Aircraft Paint Technician to manage the paint shop, lead small work groups and ensure quality and safety standards.

You should have 8+ years of painting experience in aircraft or related fields, a high school diploma, and be able to train teammates while adhering to FAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 8+ years’ experience painting aircraft, autobody, RV or Marine preferred.
• Ability to lead small work groups and supervise others.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily paint shop production and ensure schedules meet demands.
• Coordinate with parts and other departments to obtain materials.
• Train team members to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Assist in final aircraft inspections and maintain shop cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with FAA guidelines and safety rules.
• Communicate clearly in English and report to supervisor.
• Perform duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
