Job summary

RTX is seeking an Aircraft Operations Aviation Intern to gain hands‑on experience in corporate aviation. Reporting directly to the Assistant Chief Pilot, you will work closely with mentors to support a variety of projects and tasks within a corporate flight department.

You will develop skills in flight planning, aircraft operations, scheduling, IS-BAO standards, and safety management while preparing for a career in aviation.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a STEM-related degree and enrolled through internship duration.
• Private Pilot Certificate is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Assist with domestic and international flight planning and operations.
• Support aircraft maintenance and servicing activities.
• Contribute to customer service initiatives to ensure a seamless experience.
• Participate in aircraft and crew scheduling processes.
• Assist with flight planning and related documentation.
• Gain exposure to safety management systems and their implementation.
• Learn about security protocols and IS-BAO standards.
• Perform various office duties and collaborate on special projects with team mentors.
