Job summary

Action Research Corporation (ARC), a division of HEICO Corporation, in Greer, SC, seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer for aircraft component design and reverse engineering. You will analyze components, develop electrical schematics, and document changes to meet FAA standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on mechanical systems, collaboration with technicians, and providing technical support to Operations and Quality in a fast-paced repair environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7–11 years of experience in design or reverse engineering.
• Experience with reverse engineering components and FAA standards.
• Solid modeling experience; SolidWorks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Component Analysis and Reverse Engineering: Analyze and reverse engineer aircraft and engine components, ensuring repairs/modifications comply with FAA regulations and industry best practices.
• Develop technical documentation, schematics, and design modifications for electrical components; document activities per FAA standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, technicians and management to resolve technical issues and improve repair processes; provide technical support and guidance.
• Support Operations and Quality, including production support and troubleshooting.
