Job summary

ARC, a division of HEICO, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to join our Greer, SC team. You will reverse engineer aircraft components and develop modifications while complying with FAA standards. Hands-on problem solving and documentation are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering with 7–11 years in design or reverse engineering.
• Experience with FAA regulations and aircraft components.
• Proficient with SolidWorks and maintaining engineering docs.

Responsibilities

• Component Analysis and Reverse Engineering: analyze and reverse engineer aircraft and engine components to ensure FAA-compliant repairs.
• Develop technical documentation, schematics, and design modifications for electrical components; document all activities per FAA standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, technicians and management to resolve issues and improve repair processes.
• Provide operations and quality support, including production troubleshooting as required.
