Job summary

V2X is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to perform repair and replacement of aircraft systems and related components in a busy hangar environment. The role requires familiarity with manuals, schematics, and safety procedures, with potential government licensing steps.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and 3 years of relevant maintenance experience; a FAA A&P license is preferred, and the ability to obtain security clearance and CAC is required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have three years of experience in repair and replacement of aircraft systems, components and accessories.
• FAA A&P license is desired.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain CAC and security clearance.
• Must have valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintains assigned aircraft in accordance with procedures and manuals.
• Uses test equipment and ground support equipment for tasks.
• Reads and interprets schematics, drawings, charts and technical publications.
• Assists with ordering parts, tools, and materials as required.
• Maintains records of all work performed and ensures safety and documentation compliance.
• Willing to travel up to 25% and work rotating shifts.
