Job summary

Bombardier Wichita is seeking a skilled Mechanic, Modification, Repair & Overhaul to support final assembly and system installation of aircraft. You will service hydraulic, environmental control, and anti-ice systems, perform functional tests, and prepare aircraft for flight.

The role requires at least 3 years experience on aircraft systems, ability to read engineering documents, operate ground support equipment, and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience working on aircraft final assembly and system installation.
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical aircraft systems.
• Able to read and interpret engineering documents.
• Can operate ground support equipment.
• Knowledge of safety and operating procedures for power-on aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to General Work Requirements.
• Service various aircraft systems (hydraulic, ECS, anti-ice, ground support).
• Perform functional tests simulating ground and flight conditions.
• Weigh aircraft to obtain empty weight.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic-mechanical systems.
• Inspect, identify, and repair aircraft parts and systems in close-out areas.
• Assemble and install components and racks.
• Complete aircraft paperwork and prepare aircraft for turn to flight.
• Assist with jacking and moving aircraft/equipment to next station.
• Analyze hydraulic fluid for contamination.
• Support other areas in testing and repair of mechanical components.
• Assist other employees in related duties.
