Bombardier is seeking an Experienced Airframe & Powerplant Technician (A&P) in Wichita, KS. The role focuses on repairing, installing, inspecting, and maintaining customer aircraft with limited supervision, while adhering to manuals and regulations.

The candidate should have an FAA Airframe license and relevant maintenance experience, including the ability to interpret mechanical drawings and operate ground support equipment. Strong communication and safety practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Adhere to general work requirements
• Repair, install, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft with limited supervision
• Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form
• Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
• Operate aircraft ground support equipment
• Ability to operate industrial vehicles and equipment (scissor/boom lift, forklift, etc.)
• Own and maintain hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory and control of tools
• Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
• Comply with environmental, health and safety policies and procedures. Participate in 5-S activities. Perform work in a safe and timely manner
• Basic PC skills
• Demonstrate active work order and time management
• Working knowledge on Bombardier enterprise systems
• Working knowledge on aircraft systems
• Assist with inspections and troubleshooting
• Assist with aircraft component repair
• Ability to conduct weighing procedures
• Must cover all aspects of Tech 1 requirements
