  • Will perform Field and Sustainment Level maintenance support/augmentation to include: Production control, Quality Control, Supply Management, maintenance, and repair of aircraft, as well as launch and recovery of aircraft prior to and after the conduct of flight activities.
  • Shall work in specialized shops associated with fixed base operations Field Level maintenance as well as perform troubleshooting and maintenance repairs on the flight line at the KYARNG RAPSC facility.

General Description

  • Will perform Field and Sustainment Level maintenance support/augmentation to include: Production control, Quality Control, Supply Management, maintenance, and repair of aircraft, as well as launch and recovery of aircraft prior to and after the conduct of flight activities.
  • Shall work in specialized shops associated with fixed base operations Field Level maintenance as well as perform troubleshooting and maintenance repairs on the flight line at the KYARNG RAPSC facility.

DUTIES

  • Responsible for performing preliminary, hidden damage, in process, FOD, and final inspections of work performed within the MRO Operations.
  • Provides technical assistance, interprets technical data, and evaluates maintenance actions to ensure safe and reliable aircraft, components, and equipment is provided in accordance with current technical publications and directives.
  • Complies with all regulatory/statutory, customer and contractual requirements.
  • Maintain Technical Publications and related directives.
  • Maintain Technical publications, forms, and records relative to aircraft maintenance.
  • Administer and monitor aircraft weight and balance programs.
  • Organizational/intermediate level maintenance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have four (4) years of verifiable H-60 Technical Inspector experience
  • Must have 10 + years verifiable H-60 experience
  • Must be a graduate of Basic Non-Commissioned Officer Course and or Advanced Leaders Course.
  • A valid A&P license is desired.
  • Must have completed a H-60 (15T) course or other service equivalent.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance

  • Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day.
  • Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands, working at heights with fall protection devices
  • Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders.
  • May be required to lift up to 50 pounds and carry for short distances.
  • May be required to read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools.
  • Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales.
  • Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.
  • Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
  • May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, fork lift, APU, etc.
