Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience on the C-130H/J variant aircraft.
• May be required to be licensed by Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
• CPR qualification is a preference.

Responsibilities

• Maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures and components of moderate difficulty, including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.
• Applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems to diagnose malfunctions and restore equipment condition and operation.
• Receives guidance from supervisor or senior technician and may lead teams through complex tasks.
• Prioritizes workloads and may inspect other Mechanics for quality and safety.
• Provides input to Maintenance Engineering Changes and cost considerations, and may assist in recommending changes.
