Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A&P license not required but a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of aircraft mechanic experience.
• H-53 experience preferred.
• Experience in heavy structure U.S. Military or related FAA or civil aviation.
• Must have Military, Intermediate and/or DEPOT level maintenance experience.
• Must provide own tools as required.
• Up to 25% travel may be required.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have or be able to obtain a secret clearance.
• We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints, schematics and safety procedures per NDMS CONOPS.
• Disassemble, repair, and overhaul components such as tire/wheel assemblies, brakes, landing gear and related systems.
• Repair engine mounts and wing support structures.
• Rig, adjust and calibrate aircraft slings and support equipment.
• Assist Engineers with component discrepancies and investigations.
• Perform final testing and certification of assemblies using hydraulic test benches.
• Other duties as assigned.
