Job summary

Tyonek Native Corporation is seeking a skilled aircraft maintenance helper for a depot-level repair facility. You will assist in disassembly, repair, rework and installation of aircraft systems, including hydraulics, control surfaces, landing gear and engines, at a busy maintenance site.

The role requires at least two years of relevant experience; a high school diploma is required, and an A&P license is a plus. US citizenship and ability to pass a background check are mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A&P license preferred; not required.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience.
• Experience with military fixed-wing or heavy structure is a plus.
• US Citizenship and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist disassembly, repair, rework and installation of aircraft systems and components.
• Assist with hydraulic tubing, actuating cylinders and cable controls.
• Assist rigging, adjustment and tests on flight systems and power plants.
• Assist installation of fuel system components and preservation of aircraft.
• Take samples, perform corrosion control, and handle general labor tasks.
• Support fuel cell maintenance and other duties as assigned.
