Aircraft Mechanic II / ATR Crew Chief - DEA Program - Fort Lauderdale, FL

This role at V2X Inc involves supervising aircraft maintenance operations, coordinating with personnel and customers, performing routine and scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The position requires travel to support ATR aircraft, reconfiguring aircraft, and performing various maintenance tasks as assigned.

Minimum qualifications include:

• Valid Airframe & Powerplant certificate
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 7 years of fixed-wing aircraft mechanic experience, including 2 years on ATR 42 or similar aircraft within the last 12 months
• Knowledge of FAA regulations

Skills and abilities required:

• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
• Ability to interpret technical documents
• Personal hand tools (must be provided)
• US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance
• Valid driver’s license and US passport
• Willingness to travel over 25%

Physical demands: Standing, walking, stooping, lifting up to 50 pounds, working in hangar and outdoor environments.

Work environment: Inside hangar and outside conditions, exposure to mechanical parts, fumes, chemicals, and noise, with required safety equipment.
