AAR Corp. is seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic II - A&P to join our Oklahoma City operation, onsite at Will Rogers World Airport. This role targets seasoned AMTs with a strong background in aircraft maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting in line with FAA standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of aviation maintenance experience, fluent English, and a valid driver’s license. FAA A&P license is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

SUMMARY

AAR is seeking aircraft maintenance technicians (AMT). The A&P Technician IIis ideal for experienced A&P maintenance professionals and veterans who may or may not have their FAA A irframe and/or P owerplant certifications along with a minimum of 5 years of aviation maintenance experience.

WORK LOCATION

Onsite at AAR ( at Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City, OK . )

SCHEDULE

(Full-Time/ n on- e xempt and v ariable, 40 – 50 -hour work week)

Supervisor determines shift/days required , but we can discuss in interview process. Typically, more flexible candidates will be preferred.

1st Shift: 7:30am to 4:00pm or 5:30am to 4:00pm

2nd Shift: 3:30pm to 12:00am or 3:30pm to 2:00am

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Able to perform intermediate/heavy maintenance tasks with little supervision
• Perform basic aircraft maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks under supervision
• E nsure aircraft are safely maintained in accordance with the Airworthiness Standards
• U se FAA approved /accepted data ( i.e., IPC, M/M, OHM, SRM) proficientl y
• Maintain records in compliance with FAA and company requirements
• Perform airframe repairs as assigned while meeting deadlines and quality standards
• R ead and follow technical publications, schematics, and/or mechanical drawings
• U se a PC , iPad and basic computer applications and programs
• Adherence to work schedule, punctuality, and self-motivation
• Additional job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Qualifications

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• 5+ years aviation maintenance experience
• Some general maintenance experience (including relevant experience outside of a viation)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail are crucial
• A ble to skillfully use the minimum tools required
• Fluent in English (speech, reading, writing)

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Previous maintenance experience with aircraft including helicopters
• FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant license (A&P)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Knowledge of FAA regulations including 14 CFR

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

Constant ly : Lifting 10 lbs., standing, walking , wrist flex i on and extension , environmental weather conditions .

Frequent ly : Lifting ≤ 40 lbs., push/pull <20 lbs., climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling for extended periods , working in confined spaces . W ork ing above chest - level , overhead , and away from body for extended periods . B ending, twisting of torso, twisting and/ o r pressure w ith wrist / hands, fine finger usage, moderate vibrations up to 2 hrs. to high vibrations up to 30 min s . Vision with / without correction; near <20”, far >20’, and basic depth perception (shapes). Occasional ly : Lifting and/or carry ≤ 50 lbs. , sitting, basic color vision, operation of motorized or electrical equipment, push/pull < 50 lbs., work in wet conditions.

SCREENING REQUIREMENTS

Employment will be contingent on clearing a DOT drug screen , physical, background check , 3 -year employment verification, 2-year DOT verification, and education verification . These screening requirements must clear prior to the start date .

Candidate must possess U.S. work authorization and pass E-Verify within 3 business days of start date .

Must qualify for a Will Rogers World Airport badge within 30 days from start date .
