Akima Technical Solutions (ATS) is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I - Pope in North Carolina. Join our team of outstanding professionals by applying today!
Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures such as wings and fuselage, as well as functional components including rigging, surface controls, plumbing, and hydraulic units, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brake, welding equipment, rivet gun, and drills.
Troubleshoot malfunctions on aircraft structures, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing systems, pneumatics, engines, auxiliary power units, and ventilation and heating systems.
Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
Ability to make sound decisions when troubleshooting and maintaining avionics systems.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and IETMs.
Maintain aircraft logbook forms and records.
Experience with multimeters and other applicable tools.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
