Akima Technical Solutions (ATS) is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I to inspect, repair, and replace MH47 components, including rigging, flight controls, and hydraulic units. You will support phase maintenance and unscheduled maintenance, using hand and power tools and test sets.

The role requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain a secret clearance. The position emphasizes working on MH47 family aircraft, maintaining logs, and collaborating with the aircraft towing team on-site.

Competenze

• 6+ years' experience in rotary wing/military aviation.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a secret clearance.
• Must be able to pass a basic physical.

Mansioni

• Troubleshoots malfunctions on aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulics, engines, APUs, and ventilation/heating systems.
• Disassembles, cleans, washes, inspects, repairs, and reassembles aircraft in support of phase maintenance events.
• Reads and interprets maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, and other specs to determine repair or replacement methods.
• Maintains aircraft logbook forms and records.
