Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Mechanic I Machinist (AD) at NAS Lemoore to service, repair, and overhaul F/A-18 aircraft. You will read maintenance manuals, inspect for leaks and damage, and perform powerplant/fuel system work with required qualifications.

CDI certification is expected, with training to maintain compliance with directives and safety standards. The role requires 3+ years of O-level maintenance experience, an A&P license or military rating, and the ability to obtain Tier 3 government

Qualifications

• 3 years O-level aircraft system maintenance experience.
• Ability to obtain Tier 3 US Government Clearance.
• A&P License and/or Military rating.
• Must read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service F/A-18 powerplant and fuel systems per publications.
• Troubleshoot and repair powerplant/fuel system components.
• Work with ground support equipment and special tools.
• Participate in required daily/weekly/monthly training and qualification programs.
