Job description

Join to apply for the Aircraft Mechanic I role at NANA

Support aircraft structural work on MH-6/60/47 MDS rotary wing aircraft.

Responsibilities
  • Adjust, repair, or replace aircraft structural systems and components during scheduled or unscheduled maintenance.
  • Perform repairs and inspections, documenting work in electronic logbook/phase book.
  • Use powered tools such as brakes, shears, heat-treating ovens, grinders, and sanders for sheet metal operations.
  • Utilize hand and powered tools to install fasteners in structural repairs.
  • Remove and install panels, assist with teardown, inspection, repairs, and reassembly of aircraft, including structural repairs.
  • Participate in a respiratory protection program and pass related physicals.
  • Be part of the aircraft towing team.
Qualifications
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Own tools and toolbox.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in aircraft structural repair.
  • Pass a respirator and hex chrome physical; be on the respirator program.
  • May need to pass a basic physical for aircraft movement or vehicle operation on the flight line.
  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds, climbing on aircraft, and working around aircraft.
  • Experience with MH-6/60/47 is desirable.
