Job summary

FEAM Aero in Erlanger, KY is seeking entry-level Aircraft Maintenance Technician helpers to support certified technicians. You will assist with routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on customer aircraft and engines, learning hands-on under supervision.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an FAA-approved AMT program and pursuing an FAA A&P license. The role emphasizes on-the-job training, safety, and documentation, with a 4-day or 3-day work week option where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required.
• High degree of mechanical ability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist Aircraft Maintenance Technicians with assigned aircraft maintenance tasks on customer aircraft.
• Assist with routine and scheduled aircraft maintenance activities under qualified personnel.
• Assist with servicing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft, engines, and components as assigned.
• Assist with troubleshooting aircraft systems and components under supervision.
• Assist with disassembly, repair, and reassembly of aircraft sections and components per approved data.
• Learn and develop aircraft maintenance skills through hands-on training and on-the-job experience.
• Document learning and training activities as required.
• Ensure maintenance work is properly documented per policies and procedures.
• Follow FAA regulations, FEAM policies, and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
